Terms of service

Last updated - May 27, 2026Effective immediately

1. Who we are

PokeTracer is operated by KMDevelopmentNL, trading as PokeTracer, from the Netherlands. These terms apply when you access the PokeTracer website, app, API, scanner, billing, support, and public sharing features.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your password, sessions, and Google account secure. Do not share access to your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your email address up to date so we can send security, billing, and service notices.

You must be old enough to use digital services in your country and at least 16 in the EEA/UK unless a parent or guardian validly consents.

3. Plans and billing

The Free plan is free. The Pro plan is a paid subscription. Current pricing is €4,99 per month when billed monthly, or €48,00 per year when billed yearly. The yearly plan may be displayed as €4,00 per month for comparison, but it is charged yearly.

Your Pro subscription starts immediately after successful Stripe Checkout and renews automatically on the chosen billing interval until you cancel.

Payments, invoices, receipts, payment method updates, and the billing portal are provided by Stripe. You authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method for recurring subscription fees, taxes, and applicable charges.

You can cancel any time in Settings -> Plan & billing or through the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period unless Stripe or mandatory law says otherwise.

We may change pricing or paid features in the future. Existing subscribers will receive reasonable notice of material price increases or material reductions to paid features before they apply, where required by law.

4. Refunds and consumer rights

Except where mandatory consumer law gives you additional rights, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact support promptly so we can investigate.

If EU consumer withdrawal rights apply to you, you may have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance contracts. For digital content or services that start immediately, the right of withdrawal may be limited where you expressly consent to immediate access and acknowledge the legal effect during checkout. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived.

5. Your content and public sharing

You own your collection data, notes, images you upload, and other content you submit. You grant PokeTracer a limited, worldwide license to host, process, reproduce, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.

If you make a binder, profile, or collection share page public, other people can view the information you choose to publish. You are responsible for making sure public content does not include private information you do not want to share.

6. Scanner and matching results

The scanner is an assistive tool. It may crop, segment, classify, or match uploaded card images incorrectly, especially with glare, angles, sleeves, damaged cards, partial cards, or low-quality images. Always verify results before relying on them.

You must upload only images you are allowed to process. Do not upload sensitive personal information, illegal content, or images that violate someone else's rights.

7. Acceptable use

Do not do illegal things, do not try to break the service, do not scrape data at scale, do not impersonate someone else, and do not post anything that would get us in trouble. See our for the full list.

8. Price data and card data

Card prices, values, population-style summaries, and market data shown in PokeTracer are estimates from third-party and aggregated data sources. They are not appraisals, guarantees, investment advice, or financial advice. Card metadata, images, listings, and pricing may come from third-party APIs such as Scrydex and may contain errors or change over time.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep PokeTracer reliable, but the service may be unavailable for maintenance, outages, provider failures, deployments, abuse prevention, or reasons outside our control. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, including scanner providers and data sources, but will give reasonable notice for material changes to paid features where required.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free scanner or price results. Mandatory consumer guarantees and rights remain unaffected.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PokeTracer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, loss-of-profit, loss-of-data, lost collection value, or marketplace decision damages. Our total liability for claims relating to the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or €100, whichever is greater. This cap does not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

12. Suspension and termination

You can delete your account or stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create legal risk, abuse the service, fail to pay, or threaten the security or reliability of PokeTracer. Where reasonable, we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim in another place. Please contact support@poketracer.com first so we can try to resolve issues quickly.

14. Not affiliated

PokeTracer is an independent project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., The Pokemon Company, or The Pokemon Company International. Pokemon names, images, marks, and related intellectual property belong to their respective owners.
